It is a picture of a portrait she did for Mark.....
Kathy had this to say about the portrait, and Mark's reaction to it:
The portrait is done in Pen & Ink and done entirely in "stipple" (dots). I dip the pen in ink, and can only do so many dots before I have to do it again. I have come close, in the past, to completing portrait s and having the ink make a large blotch on the picture . This one is quite large and I think it turned out well.... The portrait is compiled of several different photos. When Mark saw the portrait he told me that "it's absolutely stunning, I'm bowled over by it!" We kept in touch, as he was interested in my work. As I said before, he was quite a gentleman, very charming, gracious, and caring.
